Personality of female students studying in Co-Educational and Uni-Educational colleges of Uttarakhand

Abstract: The present research is on the personality of female students studying in co-educational and uni-educational colleges of Uttarakhand state. The female students were selected without any bias through an incidental manner from the six colleges of Haridwar, Roorkee, and Dehradun, selected two types of colleges both coeducational and uni-educational of each city. For the study total 180 samples were collected that is 30 females students per colleges as 15 post graduate and 15 undergraduate in the age range of 18-25 years were selected as a sample. Data was collected by Hindi Version introversion and extroversion personality inventory prepared by Y. Singh and H. M. Singh. The data obtained was analyzed statistically and the study reveals that there is significant difference in personality among girls studying from co-educational and uni-educational colleges.
